About Me

I have done a lot of things in my life and have also worked in many different jobs to make a living and to experience life. This blog is just some of my musings, sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes simple but all the time, it's just me.

The fountain of youth

Recently wifey and I saw the latest Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides where the pirates are searching for the legendary Fountain of Youth.

According to the wiki entry, the Fountain of Youth is a legendary spring that reputedly restores the youth of anyone who drinks of its waters. Tales of such a fountain have been recounted across the world for thousands of years, appearing in writings by Herodotus, the Alexander romance, and the stories of Prester John. Stories of a similar waters were also evidently prominent among the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean during the Age of Exploration, who spoke of the restorative powers of the water in the mythical land of Bimini.

The legend became particularly prominent in the 16th century, when it became attached to the Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León, first Governor of Puerto Rico. According to an apocryphal story that features a combination of New World and Eurasian elements, Ponce de León was searching for the Fountain of Youth when he traveled to what is now Florida in 1513. Since then, the fountain has been frequently associated with Florida.

Now, I know most of you do not believe in the fountain of youth and you do not believe in immortality. But I tell you what. I have found the fountain of youth and you can be immortal.

We have been programmed that we are not immortal and everyone is mortal. That everyone is going to die.

But let me tell you a secret, I am not going to die. I have found the fountain of youth and I am now immortal.

Want to know the secret? Do you want to be immortal? Or would you rather die, be forgotten and just be remembered by a dash on your obituary i.e. John Doe; 1969 - 2010.

You see, my life force, the soul of I, it is eternal and it is infinite.

The soul that is I is my life force, and what runs my life and the thing is, it is forever.

The only purpose of my soul is to be close to Divine.

My soul does not have a dash.

Nil Timbadia is but just a temporary vessel that this soul of mine is managing and navigating currently.

I have had many vessels, I have been in many dimensions, I am a soul that has travelled far and wide. I am a soul that is as old as the Divine, living forever closely as part of the energy and life force that is in the same DNA as the Divine.

I do not fear this vessels mortality, every vessel has a life span. When you buy a car, and you maintain the car regularly, if you are lucky, it will last you for 10 maybe even 20 or 30 years but eventually the car to will die.

When you buy a television, those days, mine lasted 10 years and then it blew.

Shoes tend to last shorter lifespans.

A ship may even sink on its first voyage.

A body will last, if well maintained even for hundreds of years ... that is if the soul that is managing it wants to remain in the vessel for that long.

People in the so called golden ages lived for hundreds even thousands of years. Abraham's wife Sarah apparently gave birth to their 1st child when she was 99 and she lived many many more years after that.

This is the last trip of my soul in a earthly human form or at least my soul, my guardian and the Divine tells me so. I still have many things to be done in this lifetime and as the saying goes, my life only started at 40.

Before 40, I was a child, still growing up, still learning. At 40, I became an adult, ready to move on and learn at an accelerated rate and help people. At 40, my thinking changed. At 40, I became alive, and I started to learn of my immortality.

Fountain of youth, immortality - that I am, the soul that is I is immortal, infinite and eternal.

I am blessed. I thank you and I love you. May you start believing on your eternal immortality too.

Take care and be well.

Beautifully said, Nil, about the immortality of the soul, the driver !
How did you figure that this is my last journey on this earth, before I unite with the Divine.
I woke up to my life at 40!
What woke you up, bro?

Tne mosquitoes living around my house believe that I am immortal....

Why.... The mosquitoes life span is only 7 days.. They live, make the next generation and they die... all within 7 days...

And I have been staying at the same house for over 30 years...

Compared to the mosquitoes.. I am like God.. ever immortal...

Chechatwala, that question will be answered when we meet bro cause there is only so much you can write.
Anonymous, I like your perception of things and you are absolutely right. Even our bodies are immortal to a certain extend.
