About Me

I have done a lot of things in my life and have also worked in many different jobs to make a living and to experience life. This blog is just some of my musings, sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes simple but all the time, it's just me.

Healing and Prayer

There are many ways to heal, but the basic form of healing requires a basic form of energy exchange.

Energy exist in our body and our souls. Our body like a machine has a motor which is the heart that keeps the fuel which is blood and oxygen moving throughout to regenerate cells and we have the brain that directs the body. Our souls batteries which I have previously mentioned as our chakras keep out soul rejuvenated.

Prayer is also healing. God grants us what we need and we get energy from God as He and our divine souls are connected.

There is this story about a man who had faith in God. He heard there was a storm coming to his direction to his village and it would rain for days. However, he said to himself, "Have no worry, God will provide."

The storm and rain came and soon enough, the village started to flood and water was at his window level and he said to himself, "Don't worry; God will provide."

Some people came by to help those in need of assistance and offered to move the man and carry some of his belongings to safer ground, but the man said to them, "No thank you. God will provide."

The rain continued and the next day some men came in a small boat to offer help and told the man the village was being evacuated cause the rain was not stopping and the water was rising. The man said to them, "No thank you. God will provide."

After several days, the water had submerged the house and only the roof was above the water and the man had climbed to the roof. A helicopter cam by and through the loudspeaker told the man that they will sent down a lift and take him to safety. Again the man yelled back at them, "No thank you. God will provide."

The water began creeping up towards the roof and he was left sitting on his chimney. He held his head high and looked up and screamed to God, "I've prayed and prayed to You and I trusted You to provide. But why at this time of desperate need, You have forsaken me."

And the booming voice of God answered, "Forsaken you? Who do you think sent the townspeople to help on the first day, and the boat the next day and the helicopter a few days later?"

Sometimes, God has already provided but we are so blinded to see what is right in front of our own eyes.

I have always liked the serenity prayer, "God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change thing I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference."

All Serenity, Courage and Wisdom are very important in us making good decisions and not be like the man in the story above.

Having one alone is not enough. We need to accept what is beyond our ability. We need to have bravado to change things, if not, things will be stagnant and there will be absolutely no changes. And we always need to have wisdom, for without wisdom, we will just drown when the floods come and not even know when God has sent us saviours.

Everything we do has energy and can heal. Prayer. Reiki. Ho'oponopono. Love. Forgiveness. Gratitude. Even breathing. Over the month of April and in the past, I have written about many of these topics. HOw many of these do you practice?

It is never too late to start and there is no end once you have started.

I love you and I thank you.

Take care and be well.
