About Me

I have done a lot of things in my life and have also worked in many different jobs to make a living and to experience life. This blog is just some of my musings, sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes simple but all the time, it's just me.

Life stands still

I have not been here for a year and a half but it seems like I was here yesterday.

Life seems to have stood still but people have moved on.

Yes there is a new mall that is now open which was still in construction when I left.

And yes, the MYY mall near the old office is coming up to create more congestion around the small lanes it is being built around. And another mall in an area that I would not normally pass by.

There is that odd construction or another.

The office looks the same, except for a few little changes here and there.

The people are the same, the smiles, the greetings ... but something has changed.

I thought maybe only I have changed. But many things have changed too.

Sometimes, it is in the stillness of my life that I find my motivation.

Sometimes, it is in the stillness of my mind that I find peace.

Sometimes, it is in the stillness of the air that I find messages in the sky.

What has changed? Everything has changed, nothing has changed .... even change has changed.

Transition becomes Strategy Refresh, same old thing with a different name. Outcome uncertain, life the same.

The only thing I am missing as I sit here is home. The only thing I have missed here are the people.

But life sometimes stands still and life sometimes moves on at a break-neck speed.

I am not sure which I am happy with. Standing still, no change, no progression, no movement or move at a breakneck speed, rebel with a cause, get things done, no nonsense.

Ramblings and musings. Love, Gratitude, Forgiveness.

Take care and be well.

Great post about change. The world is constantly changing but some things stay the same. It's the familiar that is the most comforting.
