About Me

I have done a lot of things in my life and have also worked in many different jobs to make a living and to experience life. This blog is just some of my musings, sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes simple but all the time, it's just me.

Doggy Sue

If you knew Doggy Sue
Then you'd know why I feel blue
About Doggy, 'bout Doggy Sue
Oh well, I love you, gal
Yes, I love you Doggy Sue
Doggy Sue, Doggy Sue
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, Doggy Sue
Oh, my Doggy, my Doggy Sue
~ Buddy Holly, Peggy Sue changed to Doggy Sue

I have not written for a few days mainly because I have been rather busy with some spiritual things that I am pursuing and yesterday we decided to have a gratitude dinner.

Yes, a gratitude dinner, food with small group of people to be grateful for life, abundance, food and friends.

Supposed to be 4 couples (including wifey and I) but ended up only as 3 as 1 close friend couple of ours are now on a pilgrimage in India.

Anyway, was hoping to write yesterday but only got done at 2am and was too pooped as well as too tipsy on Champagne, Wine and Edradour Single Malt Whiskey.

So, got up this morning, with a little bit of a hangover, moved the various cars around as I had to visit a friend in Serendah and here came Doggy Sue greeting me.

Doggy Sue is this 1 year old German Shepard puppy who was lost and going around looking for her house.

So, immediately, I tried to see if I could find her home but Al E was barking his head  off then came wifey who was .... well, calling me to come eat my breakfast.

In the end, wifey went out to look for Doggy Sue and put her on a leash and off she went looking for the owner. I took Al E in the car and drove around our housing area to also look for the owner.

After a few rounds and futile attempts, I parked the car and decided to go walking together with Al E to find the house. Wifey and Doggy Sue were nowhere to be seen and I was hoping she had better luck.

Just as I reached a junction, here comes wifey out with the owner and good news that we managed to find Doggy Sue's house and owner.

Then we heard this story from the owner that Sue was a rescued dog, she was nearly put to sleep and they decided to take her on.

So, we are grateful for the owner to have saved Sue, and he in turn was grateful to us for finding her and returning her back.

I hope Doggy Sue will be happy, she must have run away for a reason, maybe she was bored, maybe she was hungry, maybe she was just being playful.

Either way, she was a lovely dog, she came gently to us, kissing our hands, our face and asking us to help her. Which we did and to that I am forever grateful for her to come in my life. And Doggy Sue is also grateful.

Our connection is there and that should remain. Wishing Doggy Sue all the best, you know I love you, Doggy Sue.

Take care and be well.

A good morning indeed. And feels good to be able to do something for Doggy Sue (despite massive hangover)...I am just a sucker for happy endings and happy that Doggy Sue found her home in the end. Cheers.
