About Me

I have done a lot of things in my life and have also worked in many different jobs to make a living and to experience life. This blog is just some of my musings, sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes simple but all the time, it's just me.

Ho'oponopono - I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I love you and I thank you

Dear Father
I am sorry
Please forgive me
I love You
and I thank You

Ho'oponopono is starting to change my life and it has certainly changed many lives around the world. It has been a little difficult to get over the accident but slowly I have started to accept it.

I am sorry, please forgive me, I love you, and I thank you.

Before I go on an explain what Ho'oponopono is, I am writing about miracles, so I will tell you a few miracles based on Ho'oponopono (I am sure some of you will already Google it immediately).

God has sent us many healers along the way that create miracles and resolve our issues. Jesus healed as did many of the Christian saints, Hindu deities, Muslim prophets and Buddha was a healer too. Their healing created miracles.

I recently met CS and just an hour spent with her has opened my eyes further.

CS was hospitalised recently with 4 blocked arteries and a surgery was required quite urgently for her to continue living without having a major heart attack.

She refused. She went back home and did Ho'ponopono chanting repeatedly for hours on every day.

Dear Father/God, I am sorry, Please forgive me, I love You and I thank You.

After a while, with another trip to the doctors, and a further checked revealed that miraculously, 3 of the arteries that were blocked earlier were completely unblocked and one more was now only partially blocked. The doctors could not explain it, it was truly a miracle.

CS is quite a clairvoyant person and does many things to help many people. She also does charting following the Feng Shui principles. She also prays to God and Jesus (as far as I can see). And she is a big believer of Ho'ponopono.

She told us a little about Ho'ponopono, about forgiving, about letting go, about thanking and about loving.

She told us about this Dr Ihaleakala Hew Len who was a doctor in quite a serious cases psychiatric ward. Dr Hew Len never saw his patients. Instead, he took their files and recited the Ho'ponopono - Dear Father, I am sorry, Please forgive me, I love You and I thank you - over and over again.

Within months, the ward was closed down as most of the patients got better and were able to live normal lives in the normal world with their normal families.

Yes, it sounds impossible, but that is what miracles are, events which seem impossible become I'm possible. God makes everything possible.

Now what is Ho'ponopono and it's origins? So, I as many of you, will rely on Google and Wikipedia to give us that information.

Hoʻoponopono (ho-o-pono-pono) is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. Similar forgiveness practices were performed on islands throughout the South Pacific, including Samoa, Tahiti and New Zealand.

Traditionally hoʻoponopono is practiced by healing priests or kahuna lapaʻau among family members of a person who is physically ill.

Modern versions are performed within the family by a family elder, or by the individual alone.

Ho means to, and pono means goodness, uprightness, morality, moral qualities, correct or proper procedure, excellence, well-being, prosperity, welfare, benefit, true condition or nature, duty; moral, fitting, proper, righteous, right, upright, just, virtuous, fair, beneficial, successful, in perfect order, accurate, correct, eased, relieved; should, ought, must, necessary.

So, ho'oponopono is basically to put to rights; to put in order or shape, correct, revise, adjust, amend, regulate, arrange, rectify, tidy up, make orderly or neat.

Morrnah Simeona who is among the modern day teachers say that you have to experience by yourself what you have done to others, and you are the creator of your life circumstances. Any wrong doing is memorized within oneself and mirrored in every entity and object which was present when the cause happened.

As the Law of Cause and Effect predominates in all of life and lifetimes, the purpose of her version is mainly “to release unhappy, negative experiences in past Reincarnations,  and to resolve and remove traumas from the memory banks".

Her student was Dr Hew Len. He said the main objective of hoʻoponopono is getting to “the state of Zero, where we would have zero limits. No memories. No identity. To reach this state, called Self-I-Dentity, one has to repeat constantly the prayer, “I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you."

It is based on the principle of 100% responsibility. Taking responsibility for everyone's actions, not only for one's own.

If one would take complete responsibility for one's life, then everything one sees, hears, tastes, touches, or in any way experiences would be one's responsibility because it is in one's life.

The problem would not be with our external reality, it would be with ourselves. To change our reality, we would have to change ourselves.

Total Responsibility advocates that everything exists as a projection from inside the human being.

If anyone in Malaysia would like to meet CS, do send me an email to nilsmusings@gmail.com and I will share her contact information. Do share your miracles. Send me an email.

I am sorry, please forgive me, I love you, and I thank you.

Take care and be well.

Immi, please send me an email to nilsmusings@gmail.com so I can email you details. As for ho'ponopono, it's simple enough, don't over think it. Just sit with calming soothing music and keep repeating "I'm sorry, please forgive me, I love you, I thank you".

Thank you for posting this. I was at a seminar the other day and I wanted to share this with a friend that is going through something. I went to post it on her Facebook wall and wanted to know, "What is this prayer supposed to help with again?", and I found your post. I love understanding and living lift. Many blessings to you!
