Yes, it is the time of the year again. X'mas time.
X'mas has long been accepted to mean Christmas, so I have been lucky today. It could have been quite difficult to write a blog today talking about X-rays or something X-rated.
So, last night was rather busy cause we had this little gathering in our home for Christmas.
This is when the Merry-ness started. But apart from the fun and party and food and drinks, it is all done in the spirit of Christ.
X'mas is always about giving and generously and with gratitude receiving too.
Having people around to celebrate the birth of Jesus surely is fun. I love celebrating birthdays and I am sure the man up there, wherever up there may be, enjoys it that we are celebrating his birthdays.
I have noticed that most religions celebrate their prophets birthdays. In Islam, Prophet Muhammad's birthday is celebrated, in Hinduism, a few "Gods" birthdays are celebrated, in Jainism, we do celebrate Mahavir's birthday and I am certain most other religions celebrate birthday of their Guru's or Prophet's too.
So, as we celebrate their birthdays, it is nothing wrong for us to celebrate our birthdays too.
This year has been particularly an interesting year, a challenging year too. And yet, I am alive, I am filled with love, I am smiling, laughing and having fun.
Tomorrow, it is Christmas day. Merry Christmas everyone. Happy birthday too. Have a blessed day. May God Bless you all.
Take care and be well.
