Dragon restaurant with dragon price

Yesterday, went out for dinner at Dragon Seafood down in Luak Bay after the esplanade.

As there were non vegetarian people, we ordered a small assam fish, a tofu dish, a mix vegetable dish and a green leafy vegetable.

Heard that the place is good but expensive but we thought nothing could be as expensive Marina Bay seafood restaurant which is supposed to be really expensive.

Anyhow, to make a long story short, I think we did not get a fish but a dragon instead cause the price was RM126 for 700 grams of fish.

The total meal cots was RM186.

We thought the fish was made of gold or maybe cooked in some liquid gold or something.

While it tasted good, I have never paid this much even in Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Kota Kinabalu where the seafood is a lot better.

I would not say do not go to this restaurant, but I would say bring a lot of money and go to this restaurant if you have money to waste.

For all of us that went there, the bill was sure a total shocker and totally unexpected.

Next time we better ask the price before we order anything.

Take care and be well.

M and S and i had a meal in a restaurant we normally know the prices to be reasonable. We had something to celebrate, so got a lobster, fish and usual vege. The grand total? we got small change given back from RM500. the lobster was that expensive. They have prices, but we misjudged the weight of the lobster, not 1kg but more. So price go up. And there are many types of fish, some of them can be VERY pricey. So we always check, not just the price per kg, or gram, but the actual REAL price of the fish or prawn or what have u. Lesson learned the good ol fashioned way- HARD.
