Well, as some or most of you may know, my Nikon D80 DSLR has been hospitalised.
It seems that the shutter has reached its lifespan - which is surprisingly only 50,000 clicks - or atleast that is what I have been informed.
However, it will take some time to fix and therefore I will not be able to take it with me.
As such, now I am looking for either a decent compact to buy or a cheap Nikon DSLR body ...
As for compacts, Mack recently got a nice Sony but since I am using Nikon already and already have so many SD memory cards, maybe I need to look for a compact that uses these.
Any suggestions, any ideas, any thing?

d300! my old body's on its way as well... and hence the new baby.
Cannot afford a D300 lah. Chance is I will by a Canon Powershot A2000s which runs around MYR750 or so. If DSLR, most would have been a D40 body while waiting for my D80 to be ready.
