About Me

I have done a lot of things in my life and have also worked in many different jobs to make a living and to experience life. This blog is just some of my musings, sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes simple but all the time, it's just me.

Breakfast, Quantum of Solace early show, lunch ....

I have in my life watched all the James Bond movies, all.

How many are there, in my count, including a comedy James Bond, there are 25 James Bond movies to date.

Casino Royale with Barry Nelson and Casino Royale with David Niven.

Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again with Sean Connery.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby.

Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy with Roger Moore.

A View to a Kill and The Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton.

Licence to Kill, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day with Pierce Brosnan.

Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace with Daniel Craig.

After 25 Bond movies, who is my favorite Bond? I have to say it still remains Sean Connery, followed by Pierce Brosnan, followed by Roger Moore/Daniel Craig tied at third.

I like the Daniel Craig Bond movies and I like him as an actor but as a Bond, he lacks charm although the action is fantastic.

Daniel Craig is much better than Lazenby, Dalton, Nelson and Niven. I really have enjoyed his 2 movies but I hope his 3rd movie deviates and does not link back to the first 2 movies as they have done so far.

Daniel Craig's revenge for Vesper's death hopefully comes to an end in Quantum of Solace and the 3rd movie he makes is some other villain.

He is signed on to make 3 more Bond movies and just like me, he too hopes for a return of Q and Moneypenny.

Nevertheless, had great fun watching the movie in the wonderful theater 1 of Star Movies in Miri. It's the only theater that will keep you at the edge of your seat no matter what movie it is (mainly because the seats a slanted downwards and you can't sit straight in them).

I will continue watching Bond movies even if they get a crappy actor. Imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger or Steven Seagal or Sylvester Stallone as James Bond .... I would still go watch it.

I may draw the line if this guy became Bond ...

Take care and be well.
